Summer Forest Camp’s August 2023

We are delighted to be able to bring back our Forest Camp sessions. – 10am – 3pm – Meeting outside of the visitors centre at least 20 minutes beforehand.

Located amidst the breath taking beauty of the park, our camp offers a unique opportunity for children to reconnect with the great outdoors and create unforgettable memories. Our Forest Camp’s offer a unique educational experience using the outdoor environment of the forest as a classroom.

Research shows educational experiences within the outdoor environment can improve confidence, better their social skills and communication; while increasing their knowledge and understanding of the natural world. Plus, who wouldn’t want to spend all day in a forest!?

We’ll be playing games, making dens and shelters, having a camp fire with tasty treats, exploring the wonderful nature in the park and making fun objects out of wood and other natural materials found in the park. The sessions will be ran by the brilliant Simon Moorhouse, who will be bringing extra activities that everyone is sure to enjoy.

£25 per child, per day

If they’re going home tired, we know we’ve done our jobs right as there’s so much to explore and discover while surrounding themselves in nature – its gonna be a blast!

A week before your booking We will be sending out the required health and wellbeing forms at least a week before your booking. It is a requirement that you complete them and return the form at least 24hrs before your booking.
