Parking

Parking charges apply 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. When you pay for parking, you are helping us to care for the park which costs the Trust around £1,600 a day year-round.

Tarrifs: £2.00 for up to 2.5 hours, £3.00 for up to four hours, £4.00 for a whole day.

Car park permits are available – please see below.

You can pay for parking at any time during your visit, but you must pay before you leave. You can pay by cash (no change is given), by card or by the RingGo mobile telephone app whose number is on the side of the machines and sign boards (additional service charges may apply). If for any reason the payment machines are not working, then you must use the RingGo service or leave the car park promptly to avoid an automatic fine.

Overstayed your time?

If you overstay your ticket, for example you pay for 2.5 hours parking when you arrive and overstay the 2.5 hour period, you can top up by paying for a further 2.5 hours when leaving. This will prevent an automatic fine.

Back Lane car park has a 25-minute free period to allow for school drop off and collection.

Please note that Blue Badge holders DO need to pay in our car parks.

The car parks are managed by Bransby Wilson, a member of the British Parking Association. If you do receive a Parking Charge Notice and you dispute liability for the parking charge, you must follow the appeals process which is outlined in the letter. Please note that Cuerden Valley Park Trust is not able to respond to appeals.
