Join us for our first Monthly Conservation Task Day of 2023 on Saturday 15th April
If you haven’t volunteered with us before what better way to do good, get out into nature and meet new friends.
Our focus will be on planting and fence replacement at the reservoir.
Task days take place on the third Saturday of each month and tend to include; clearance of path and stairways, cutting back foliage, digging & getting muddy! etc.
Lighter tasks are available – you can do as much or as little as you like.
We will be serving hot drinks, biscuits and a hot lunch (including a veg n option) prepared for us by the wonderful Cuerden View Café team.
We will have disposable cups an forks but please do you bit for the environment and bring your own container and spoon if you can.
We’ll meet you at Cuerden View Cafe on our Berkely Drive Car park at 09.40 for a 10.00 start and run through until about 15.00 – or whenever you need to leave.
We will provide all equipment and instruction for the various tasks.
Children, families & well-behaved dogs on a lead are all welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weather with lots of layers and sturdy footwear.
