Immerse your child in the wonders of nature with our Forest Camps at Cuerden Valley Park held during the school holidays! Children are left in our care for the day and the days are designed for children aged 5 to 11 as well as sessions for 10-14, this unique outdoor experience offers a range of enriching activities that foster curiosity, learning, and adventure, it is run using the Forest School Association principles which enable children to make choices for themselves.
Nestled within the serene beauty of Cuerden Valley Park, our camps provide a safe and engaging environment for children to explore the great outdoors. Children are encouraged to make decisions for themselves getting involved in as much or as little as they like, sitting under a tree and listening to the birds is more than enough for some.
Our team do however offer exciting team building activities, den building, creative arts and crafts inspired by the natural world, each session offers new challenges, including some tasty campfire snacks.
Our Forest Camps are based in Ice-house Wood and are run in conjunction with our Education Team and Wood-Sage Outdoor Education. The camps run throughout the school holidays, and details of the next Forest Camp will be posted on our Events page and our social media.
