Proceeds from the race will go towards a local child called Filip.
Filip is a wonderful 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in June 2022. Unfortunately, after surgery to remove the tumour, he suffered a stroke, which kept him in the hospital for 767 days.
CVPT are raising funds to allow Filip & his family to spend more time outdoors as a family on bike trips, but in order to do that they need a specialist bike trailer for Filip, that will give him enough support to keep him safe.
We are also raising funds to improve Filip’s communication with a device called Eyegaze, that will give him more independence around telling his family what he needs.
