Making a donation to Cuerden Valley Park Trust
It cost around £1,250 day to maintain the 650 acres of woodland, waterways and pasture which make up Cuerden Valley Park. Its a huge amount of money (c.£460,000 each year).
As a charity CVPT receives no funding from local authorities or other statutory bodies and instead relies solely on income we can generate from our own activities each year.

Where your money goes
As well as managing the park for visitors we work hard to support many of the vulnerable species which make their homes here.
Whether its rare flowers like Orchids, butterflies and other small insects or small mammals like water voles and nationally vulnerable bird species like Willow Tit (which breed in the park), we are determined to protect and expand the habitats they rely on.
