The Great Big Green Week

Cuerden Valley Park are taking part in the Great Big Green Week, a week long event of community action against climate change.
We will be doing the following activities,
Monday 26th September – Self-Led Litter pick
Come to the Park Office and collect a litter picker, a bag and a bag hoop.
Tuesday 27th September – 8:00am Magical Moths
Meet David Beattie (CVPT wildlife Officer) at the Walled Orchard to see which Magical Moths have visited over night.
Tuesday 27th September – Wild Flower Seed Planting
Meet at the Stone Bridge near the picnic area from 10am
Wednesday 28th September – River Education (private session for schools)
Thursday 29th September – 8:00am Magical Moths

Thursday 29th September – River Revetment
Meet at the stone bridge near the picnic area from 10am
Friday 30th September – Self-Led Litter pick
Come to the Park Office and collect a litter picker, a bag and a bag hoop.
Please follow the link for details of how to book, there is no charge for these events but we would like people to book on so that we can manage the numbers.
If you are able to pay for your parking this would be appreciated as it helps us to maintain the park, if not please hand in your car registration to a member of the team.
