Flower Walk and Talk With David Beattie

Flower Walk and Talk With David Beattie

Info

With the park well into Spring, there are some botanical delights just waiting to be found! Our resident expert David, will be sharing his knowledge for a morning of discovery around the park. You’ll also have a unique opportunity to go into the parks nature reserves and see the inner workings of Cuerden.
Unfortunately, Dogs won’t be allowed on any of our guided walks as we don’t want to scare away any wildlife! All the nature reserves are protected areas, so we want to be as careful as possible; not to change anything.
The walk will be over the space of a couple of hours, so please dress appropriately to the weather conditions of the day (a raincoat is a must!). We would also recommend Wellies or a pair of walking boots as the terrain will vary; you and your party will be walking off footpaths, so if you’re a little unsteady on your feet – this one might not be for you. The walk will also be 2-3km, so please be wary if you would struggle over that distance.
Under 18’s come free
Adults – £5
We will be meeting for 10am on Sunday the 23rd of April, Outside the Visitors Centre:
Berkeley Dr, Bamber Bridge, Clayton-le-Woods, Preston PR5 6BY

All proceeds go towards the maintenance and management of the park. The café will be open throughout the day, to get a warm brew afterwards!
